Energy Summit: Morning Pass
Energy Summit: Morning Pass

Energy is everywhere, moving through us and all around us. The wellness industry treats it as a problem to solve: something to hack, stack, and optimize. But what if we saw it differently, not as a metric for individual output, but as a shared resource shaping how we live, adapt, connect, and thrive.

The Energy Summit opens 113 Spring's next theme, The Energy Exchange, with a morning of informative expert panels to reframe this conversation.

Morning Session — 8:30AM to 12:30PM.
This ticket covers the morning session of five moderated conversations that bring together researchers, founders, practitioners, and cultural critics to example how energy is generated, depleted, shared, and restored.

Afternoon workshops and full-day tickets are available to book separately.

8:30 to 9:00AM — Breakfast
The Summit begins with a light breakfast with nourishing bites and energizing beverages.

9:00 to 9:30AM — Kick-off: The Energy Exchange
Moderated by Energy Exchange co-curator Romain Gaillard, this opening conversation introduces our cross-disciplinary expert launch partners to establish a shared vocabulary for energy that moves beyond optimization and toward something more relational, adaptive, and alive.

9:45 to 10:15AM — The Energy Optimization Paradox
The pursuit of vitality can itself be an energy drain. But how do you tell when an optimization practice is helping versus harming? This panel addresses the biohacker framework head-on while making space for the increasing realities of "wellness burnout."

10:30 to 11:00AM — Third Places and Collective Energy
We lost our third places to a market failure, and membership versions of what used to be public goods for wellbeing are now monetizing the absence. This conversation is an attempt to create a more honest dialogue around the way “community” gets used across the category.

11:15 to 11:45AM — The Energy Tax of Modern Life
Living in New York is energetically expensive, taxing your nervous system every day in ways nobody itemizes. This conversation aims to illustrate what repeated exposure to the biggest city in the country actually costs your body and mind — and what’s structural vs. personal.

12:00 to 12:30PM — Inherited Energy: Ancient Systems for Modern Times
Western longevity science is rediscovering what TCM and Ayurveda have known for millennia: that vitality is not built through isolated interventions, but through the dynamic balance of interconnected systems. The aim in this session is to develop a comparative vocabulary for energy to help decipher tradition from trend.
