The evening is guided by Florencia Fridman, who will introduce the cultural roots and qualities of ceremonial cacao while sharing a warm cup of cacao and leading participants through a grounding breath practice. Long valued across Mesoamerican traditions, cacao is known for its ability to support openness, clarity, and connection.

The experience then unfolds into a live sonic immersion by renowned vocalist Natalia Clavier of Thievery Corporation . Through layered vocal textures and subtle soundscapes, Natalia creates an atmosphere for deep listening, inner awareness, and emotional resonance.

Together, cacao, breath, and sound create a calming sensory environment that supports relaxation, presence, and connection — both inwardly and within the shared energy of the room.

Everyone is cleansed with palo santo upon arrival. Cacao is passed around to each participant. We share a gratitude invocation followed by drinking the cacao while we discuss the history, physical benefits, and also share about 1 kawok (the energy in the mayan cosmovision).
