Most of what shapes our health, behavior, and lived experience operates below conscious awareness.

Embodied Knowing is a 3-hour immersive workshop with Dr. Erica Matluck designed to access this deeper layer of intelligence—where the body holds information the mind cannot fully articulate.

Blending clinical frameworks with movement and breathwork, the session begins by expanding awareness of the body as an intelligent system. Participants are guided to move beyond purely cognitive understanding and into direct, felt perception.

From there, each participant receives individual attention. Using hands-on or hands-near methods, Erica works with the body to access information that often emerges as precise, unexpected, and highly relevant—offering insight into patterns, imbalances, and underlying dynamics.

This is not energy healing, and it is not traditional meditation. It sits at the edge of both—grounded in clinical understanding, yet oriented toward forms of knowing that science is only beginning to explore.

Designed for individuals who value rigor and are open to expanding their framework, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to experience the body not just as something to manage—but as a source of deep, practical intelligence.

Limited to 12 participants.

The inspiration

Most modalities that access the unconscious require you to choose: clinical precision, somatic depth or altered states. Embodied Knowing brings all three into a single, carefully sequenced container — movement that unlocks what connective tissue has been holding, breathwork that dissolves the boundary between thinking and feeling, and hands-on individual attention from a holistic doctor who has spent decades learning to read the body's hidden language. The result is something rarely encountered outside of ceremonial contexts: a structured, clinically-informed experience that moves unconscious material into conscious awareness — and gives it somewhere to land. Participants leave relaxed and informed. With new insight into themselves, their body's intelligence, and something they didn't know they needed to see.

How it works

This workshop contains 4 parts.

Part 1: The Framework (~30 minutes)
We'll begin with the how and the why. Erica will provide an orientation to the technology of the self. She'll introduce the holistic intelligence framework that underlies her clinical, somatic and spiritual practice. This is a perceptual reframe designed to shift how participants relate to the 4 dimensions of their health before the experiential work begins.

Part 2: Embodied Movement (~30 minutes)
Participants move through a guided sequence targeting specific areas of connective tissue — the body's storage tank for memory, emotion, and unprocessed experience. This phase isn't exercise; it's excavation. Movement here is a method for making previously inaccessible material available.

Part 3: Structured Breathwork (~40 minutes)
Three distinct breathing techniques are used in sequence, each with a different purpose. Pacing and intervals are calibrated deliberately- progressively deepening access to the body's interior landscape and bringing the system into deep parasympathetic state.

Part 4: Individual Sessions (~60–80 minutes)
Erica works with each participant individually. Using hands-on or hands-near contact to access information held in the body that often cannot surface through language or conscious reflection alone. What emerges is typically specific, surprising, and directly relevant.

The Science

Embodied Knowing draws on a convergence of disciplines that rarely appear in the same room: clinical medicine, structural bodywork, breathwork, and a form of perceptual access that defies easy categorization.

Dr. Erica Matluck spent years in practice observing the same pattern: the body consistently holds unconscious information that standard diagnostic tools could not retrieve. Symptoms without clear origin. Patterns that resisted conventional treatment. Experiences that lived somewhere between physiology and biography.

Her path led her into a deep exploration of how to best access the unconscious.

The most unusual thread came through extended time in shamanic and plant medicine traditions where she started learning from plants directly. Through this work, Erica encountered something she couldn't name clinically but couldn't dismiss: an ability to receive information through her hands. Not as metaphor but as direct perception. Overtime she learned to trust and refine this capacity — and to integrate it with everything she already knew as a doctor, bodyworker and yogi.

Embodied Knowing is what emerged from that integration. It is rigorous, experiential, and operates at the edge of what current science can measure — while remaining grounded in a lifetime of clinical and holistic practice.

Dr. Erica Matluck is a naturopathic doctor, nurse practitioner, Reiki master, and yoga instructor who left a career at the forefront of integrative medicine to do something more radical — help people heal their whole lives, not just their symptoms. As the creator of Seven Senses, she has facilitated transformational group experiences for thousands, delivered wellness programs at the world's most prominent companies, and been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Well+Good. She brings a rare combination to any room: the clinical precision of a licensed medical practitioner and the depth of someone who has studied healing traditions across cultures. People don't leave her work feeling like they attended a workshop. They leave feeling like something shifted.
