What if healing is less about fixing something broken and more about remembering what was always there?

Before We Forget is a guided group experience that moves through breathwork, immersive storytelling, embodied practice, and community dialogue, creating space to reconnect with the wisdom held in the body, in shared history, and in collective imagination.

The evening is part of The Salty Tour and My Healing Language's broader work to interrupt cycles of trauma and cultivate communities where healing and belonging become part of our shared inheritance.

This is not a lecture or a workshop. It is an invitation to remember.

How it works

The evening unfolds as a guided journey through a series of facilitated experiences.

Immersive storytelling opens personal and ancestral memory. Guided breathwork supports nervous system regulation and deepens presence. Community dialogue creates space to witness and be witnessed.

Each element builds on the last, moving the group from individual reflection toward something collectively felt.

What makes this unique?

This experience weaves together science, ancestral wisdom, embodiment, storytelling, and collective imagination into a single immersive experience of remembrance. Rather than treating healing as something to be fixed or achieved, Glenda invites participants to reconnect with the wisdom already held within their bodies, relationships, histories, and hopes for the future.

FAQ's

When should I arrive to the session?

We kindly invite you to arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.

What should I bring?

A journal, pen and water bottle.

What should I wear?

If possible, we invite everyone to wear black as a simple way of creating a shared container. Most importantly, wear clothing that allows you to move comfortably and spend portions of the afternoon seated or lying on yoga mats.

How should I prepare?

We’ll be incorporating breathwork into our experience, so we recommend arriving without a very full stomach. Light snacks will be available during the gathering.

Throughout the afternoon, you are invited to honor your own body and your own pace. Every practice is an invitation. You are always welcome to modify, pause, or step out if you need to.

Will there be anything available for purchase?

Glenda is currently on The Salty Tour, and signed copies of her memoir, Salt In Her Lungs, will be available for purchase following our time together. She'd love the opportunity to meet you, sign your book, and continue the conversation.

Adaptogentic beverages, wellbeing products and experiences will also be available for purchase through the 113 Spring team.
