Samer Ghadry is a New York-based percussionist, sound practitioner, and improvising musician whose practice spans jazz drumming, drone-based composition, and sound meditation. Trained at Brown University and shaped by two decades of performance and study, he has worked with leading figures in experimental and contemporary music — including Dave Harrington, Deradoorian, and Matthew Dear — and appears on Alanis Morissette's The Storm Before The Calm and the film Everything Everywhere All At Once.
His sound healing practice is grounded in rigorous study: intensive training with Sage Academy of Sound and 9 Ways Academia, apprenticeship with energetic healer Rebecca Singer, ongoing work with Dr. John Beaulieu of Biosonics, and collaboration with gong practitioner Don Conreaux. He has consulted institutions including the Rubin Museum's Mandala Lab and holds a recurring sound meditation series at Public Records. His work sits at the intersection of musical improvisation and somatic practice — precise, experiential, and deeply informed.
